When and where is AROABORA happening?
Due to circumstances outside our control, the AROABORA Music Festival will not proceed in 2026. We will continue exploring opportunities to bring the festival to life in the future.
I purchased tickets this year, how can I get a refund?
For those who have already purchased tickets to the event, more information will be emailed to you shortly and the festival will be refunding your ticket purchase in full. We know many were looking forward to the festival, and appreciate all the support and excitement surrounding the event.
Who can attend?
AROABORA is an 18+ event. Valid government photo ID will be required for entry.
How do I get there?
AROABORA’s future festival site is TBD. For those coming from Calgary or nearby towns, shuttle and transit options will be announced closer to the event. We strongly encourage carpooling, shared transport, and local stays to minimize environmental impact.
Where should I stay?
Festival weekend accommodation will be available through selected partner hotels and lodges in Banff.
Package options with lift access, shuttle service, and après experiences will be announced soon.
What should I bring?
- Valid photo ID
- Warm, layered clothing
- Small bag or fanny pack
- Reusable water bottle (empty at entry)
- Positive energy and respect for the space and one another
What’s not allowed?
To keep everyone safe and the site secure, please do not bring:
- Large bags, backpacks, or coolers
- Glass bottles or containers
- Outside alcohol or food
- Drugs or illegal substances
- Weapons, fireworks, or flares
- Drones or professional camera equipment
- Pets (except certified service animals)
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
AROABORA’s future festival site is TBD.
What payment methods are accepted?
All food, beverage, and merchandise vendors accept credit and debit cards.
The festival site will be cashless.
Can I bring my camera?
Personal phones and small cameras are welcome!
Professional cameras, drones, and audio recording equipment are not permitted without media accreditation.
Is cannabis allowed?
Please follow all Alberta provincial laws. Consumption is not permitted within festival grounds.
What happens if I lose something?
Visit the Lost & Found desk on-site or contact us after the event.
AROABORA is not responsible for lost or stolen items — please keep valuables secure.
What’s the safety and consent policy?
AROABORA is a consent-first space.
Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
If you or someone else feels uncomfortable, approach any staff or security — we’re here to help.
What’s Will the event happen in bad weather?
Yes — the show goes on, rain, snow, or shine!
Extreme weather updates will be shared on official channels if necessary.
